As a fitness enthusiast I really enjoyed various forms of training. From martial arts, weightlifting and rock climbing.  I was looking for another way to train such as swinging a sledge hammer. A very popular way to train with hammers was hitting a tire. However i thought to myself what other methods of training could i try?  That's when I started looking into mace training.  At first I started with the 10 pound sledge hammer, and found my technique was sloppy and the head weight was not distributed uniformly.  So I went online and sadly to my finding, all the adjustable maces on the market were way out of my price point. I already knew i did not want to buy multiple fixed weight maces because that would have taken up lots of space and would be more expensive. So I ended up buying the cheapest wooden adjustable mace I could get. To my disappointment, I broke it within a few days with light duty use.  That's when i decided to take my engineering skillsets and build my own mace. To incorporate features into our products that i felt was lacking in the market. I wanted a mace that did not use any specialty weights, well priced, durable, easy to use and good quality. That's when Mighty Mace was created.
